I Know, it’s been mad long since I’ve done this…but I been crazy busy.
This song comes from the homie Skewby out of Memphis, *clearing throat* THE NEW MEMPHIS. Dude is a beast with the production…you may have heard some of his tracks used by Short Dawg…”Me n My Drink”…GOOGLE that. Anyway, check out Skewby’s myspace page and download the track…

[CONTENT, IN CASE ANYONE READS…]
“Inspired by Everything. Defined by Nothing.” ~Plush .357
“Grip is more hood than hipster but there’s plenty of PBR in his swag, and ghettotech beats fuel hit Fourth Ward flow.” ~ Rodney Carmichael, Creative Loafing
Never before have some many genres of music inspired an artist to create something unheard of. Of course other musicians are inspired by a variety of music, but oftentimes, their sound has been done before; that’s not the case with Grip Plyaz.
Grip Plyaz is a Fourth Ward, Atlanta native whom draws inspiration from clubbing, Chevy’s and women. Grip is known in Atlanta for his catchy hooks and very danceable beats. He has earned the respect of men and women alike for forcing them to have fun again and never changing his sound for the 10 years he’s been making music.
“Grip-Hop” is Grip’s interpretation of hip-hop. On this project he has had the opportunity to work with a variety of producers, including Rob V. of Starz Ink, who has worked on Gucci Mane’s projects to Debonair Samir, who’s a part of Aaron Lacrate’s B-More Gutter music.
Grip Plyaz’s sound can’t be summed up into one word, but you can choose from the following: raw, ghettotech, 808 music or our favorite: Grip-Hop.
On “Grip-Hop” you will find songs featuring Proton, Hollyweerd, Muffy, Rob Wonder & more.
Enjoy & feel free to BOOTLEG/Share the link!!
Thanks in advance.
